Privacy policy
Last updated August 2026.
Fantasy Football Club is run by an individual organiser. This policy explains what personal data we hold and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Your email address and display name, provided at registration or by your Google account.
- Your first name, last name and date of birth, used privately to confirm you are 18 or over and to verify prize winners. Only administrators can see them.
- Your team name, squad selections, transfers and points.
- Technical data used to prevent abuse: IP address, timing signals and registration attempts.
- Any messages you send us through the in-app feedback form.
Why we use it
- To run your account and score your team.
- To verify you control your email address and enforce one team per person.
- To detect and block duplicate accounts, bots and abusive registrations.
- To contact winners and answer support requests.
How long we keep it
- Account and team data is kept for the duration of the season and for 12 months afterwards, so historical tables and Hall of Fame entries remain accurate.
- Abuse-protection records (IP and attempt logs) are kept for up to 90 days.
- You can ask us to delete your account at any time; anonymised results may remain in historical tables.
Who we share it with
- Our hosting and database provider, which stores the data on our behalf.
- Google, if you choose to sign in with a Google account.
- Our email provider, for verification and service messages.
- We never sell your data and we never publish your email address.
Cookies and storage
- We use essential storage only, to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or analytics trackers, so no cookie consent banner is required.
Your rights
- Under UK GDPR you can request a copy of your data, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it.
- Email hello@thefantasyfootballclub.com and we will respond within 30 days.
